Classes in Covelo this Summer

 

Ever since the Covid shut down, I've been hesitating to start up classes again in my studio in Covelo - part laziness, part logistics. With the way things are going in the world right now, I've promised myself to just get on with the things I want to do - no more excuses!

 

With that in mind I'm going to start slow. I'm going to offer two sessions, August 11-15 and August 18-22. The weekend between is our Blackberry Festival.

 

Rather than offer a set course as I have always done in the past, the sessions this go around will be open only to those students who have taken classes here in my studio in Covelo in the past. You'll be expected to come with either projects in mind, or specific techniques you'd like help mastering. I will act as mentor offering individualized instruction. You'll have access to my equipment and supplies.

 

The fee will be $2500/session, which will include lodging in my studio and most meals. Enrollment will be limited to only five or six per weekly session..

 

I'm limiting it in part to those who have been here before since they will understand my meaning when I describe the town as "rustic" or "quaint" (we're not talking Cape Cod quaint, or Arizona dude ranch rustic here).
