Shipping is calculated by computer and is not always accurate. When in doubt, feel free to email me a list of the items you would like to order, and I'll get back to you with an accurate amount. Another option is to place the items you'd like in your cart, take a picture of your screen with the order, and email it to me. If you use the web page shipping algorithm and are overcharged, I'll certainly notify you and refund the difference.

When in doubt, please contact me first.

Natural pigment sticks are simply natural pigments pressed into a convenient to use form. While not practical to use in making large batches for dyeing, they are ideal for when you need very concentrated dye in small doses. I use them for smaller projects, to add delicate details to a piece as I finish up, or to make corrections to spots or smears that somehow always creep into anyone’s well planned creations.

You'll find some variation in each stick – they are all hand formed, with the exception of the lower-priced sumi black (#14)for which a mold was used.

I carry a range of colors, all very high quality.

Some colors sell out quickly but I try always keep the bingata basics in stock: yellow, vermillion, black, indigo, and miai.
