Shiokumi Musume represents a young woman gathering salt at the seashore, as indicated by the bucket she carries painted with a wave design.

 

Very good condition, probably date of construction, 1940s.

No fading but ever so slightly discoloration commensurate with age.

Wood paddle, hand painted silks, top quality fabrics and construction.

Slight ding at side in wood.

 

Approximately 22" tall.
