Shipping is calculated by computer and is not always accurate. When in doubt, feel free to email me a list of the items you would like to order, and I'll get back to you with an accurate amount. Another option is to place the items you'd like in your cart, take a picture of your screen with the order, and email it to me. If you use the web page shipping algorithm and are overcharged, I'll certainly notify you and refund the difference.

When in doubt, please contact me first.

March 26, 27, and 28 (Tu Wed Thu), 2024

three sessions total

noon: 11:00 to 1:00 California time

focus on applying natural dyes

Zoom-based program. Participants are enciouraged to download and save the recording of the session for later reference.

Each session will focus on slightly different approaches to direct painting, including extensive layering, pigments in combination with other naturaly dyes, the use of friskets and other resists, as well as working on wet vs dry surfaces. In addition, we'll be exploring how adding a soymilk sizing to the fabric before dyes are applied, as opposed to after, greatly effects the clarity of the lines.

I'll be presenting an abundance of samples to illustrate the possibilities  of each technique.
