Shijira-ori is a crinkle weave from Shikoku. It has a slightly seersucker-like texture which helps to keep the fabric away from the wearer's skin and is prized for summer clothing.
100% natural indigo from Awa - the indigo center fo Japan in Shikoku.
Roughly ten yards, traditional width (about 14"). 100% cotton. Excellent condition.
