36 Summer Kimono: Egasuri
Kimono of medium weight hon-asa (hand-plied ramie).
Mums, pines, and waves.
Egasuri - hand knotted pictoral ikat.
 
Excellent  condition - seems to have never been worn or was very carefully taken care of. Ever-so-slight age foxing on inner collar lining. See photos. Hand woven, 100% ramie. 58" neck to hem, 48" wrist to wrist, and 23" side seam to side seam. Roughly 150 years old. Originally collected by Dorothy Miller  in Japan in 1960.
