One of my greatest joys is watching fellow artists express themselves. And if I
can participate in the process, even better! My courses offer a great deal of
information in a very clear format, but there are times when we all need a
little more personal attention. I recognize this need and have set up several
options to help you meet your goals.

Studio Visits
This is the quickest and most economical approach to getting specific questions
answered. The more time you put into carefully articulating your question or
issue, the more concisely I can respond. In most cases I can solve your problem
without leaving my chair.
You are only charged for the time I spend formulating and typing my answer to
you even if a more-challenging question requires some outside research on my
part. I have a vast library of Japanese research materials at my fingertips and
enjoy any opportunity to make use of them.
My fees are $20 per ten-minute block of typing time on my side. For more

Sometimes you may want face-to-face contact to be able to get the information
you need. In order to maximize your gain from this option, I like to know ahead
of time the points you would like to have covered so that I may gather
information and samples to illustrate the details I
’d like to share in helping you. Once we’ve set the topic, we’ll make an on-line appointment for a set amount of time. You’ll be notified of the fee, and we’ll take it from there. No long drive, no getting dressed up! My current rates
are $60/half-hour block
–you’re not charged for my prep time.
